Introduction and Purpose
You are being invited to participate in a research study.
If you agree to be in this research, you will see some pictures/videos or read some text and answer multiple-choice or multiple-answer questions.
Alternatively you may be asked to type in your answer or complete a sentence.
We will not collect any information from you that would identify you or connect you to the data collected.
The anonymous data collected will be stored on an online platform and will be shared with other researchers to increase scientific openness and transparency.
There are no significant risks or benefits associated with this study.
Compensation
To thank you for participating in our study you will receive $3.75
Taking part in research is completely voluntary
You are free to decline to take part or stop participating in the project at any time.
Whether or not you choose to take part or stop, there will be no penalty to you or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.

In this study we're interested in measuring your intuitions about the meaning of certain sentences. Some will have clear meanings while others may be more ambiguous.
After reading each trial sentence, you'll be asked to rate the likelihood that two things in the sentence are both true using a slider that ranges from 0% to 100%.
We'll give you a few examples, then let you practice with feedback before the actual experiment begins.
